Cited in the AfD and maybe useful for the article. [1],[2],[3],[4],[5],[6],[7] Ty 04:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As of 10/11/2015, no editor has deemed the references suggested above as adequate or relevant for inclusion in this article. I concur that these references seem unsatisfactory. References [1] [2] [5] and [6] are not currently available on the Internet. References [3] and [4] contain a reference to this book, but appear to me to be of less than scholarly status. Reference [7] contains nothing that I can find that is relevant to either Michael Newton or this book. Wcmead3 (talk) 21:13, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Should this article be deleted?

[edit]

I think this article should be deleted, based on the following deletion criteria: (4) Advertising or other spam without any relevant or encyclopedic content, (6) Articles that cannot possibly be attributed to reliable sources, (7) Articles for which thorough attempts to find reliable sources to verify them have failed, and/or (8) Articles whose subjects fail to meet the relevant notability guideline.Wcmead3 (talk) 21:22, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, a reasonable search for "Michael Newton PhD" via Google does not reveal any academic institution from which he might have received a PhD. Similarly, although the website of the Newton Institute claims that Mr. Newton has a PhD, no information about the granting institution is provided.Wcmead3 (talk) 21:31, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This page is not a biography of the author but a page with information on a published book. I don't see why it should be deleted as it is no different to the article on The_Hunt_for_Red_October. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.151.29.112 (talk) 13:32, 17 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
