Sexual deprivation

[edit]

Another topic related to deprivation which might deserve a stub article is sexual deprivation. Author Richard Sipe has for example asserted that this phenomenon may have been a factor in clerical abuse affairs. [1] ADM (talk) 15:25, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ecclesiastical Deprivation

[edit]

I think deprivation is actually the correct term for stripping a cleric of office. May be useful to add. Sjwells53 (talk) 20:03, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup needed?

[edit]

Recently @AnonQuixote and I have each had a go at cleaning up this page, to rather different effects. I'm not sure my version is better, but some comments at the recent RfD suggest that either the poverty senses (currently included), the legal senses (currently mostly missing), or the medical sense (currently entirely missing) may be primary. Can anyone offer a third opinion? Also pinging @Shhhnotsoloud and Daask, and WikiProject Disambiguation (manually). Cnilep (talk) 07:14, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I've added a couple of See also entries which do no harm. I think the best thing for this page now is a period of stability. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:35, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
