Cao Dai Numbers Are Wrong

Sorry, but there are not 7 to 8 million followers of Cao Dai. The other numbers I have seen say between 1% and 3% follow Cao Dai, which puts it at maybe 3 million, maximum. Cao Dai is considered a cult by many vietnamese. And there are certainly not more Cai Dai followers than Catholic followers in Vietnam.

Hoa population

How come Chinese accounted for 1% population of Vietnam can be considered as second largest minority group?? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 132.170.50.180 (talk) 03:57, 10 April 2007 (UTC).

The Muslim population was wrong

In the Vietnam government's census of 2005.The Muslim population is only under 70 thousand people,67000 to 68000 exactly (80-85% is Cham people, the remains is the South Asian descent people).Almost South Asian Muslims have converted to Buddhists (nearly 90%) and a little Hindus! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 58.186.225.164 (talk) 06:31, 15 May 2007 (UTC).

Two-child policy

Assuming this is still in place, shouldn't it get a mention? M-Henry (talk) 11:28, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Khmer Krom population in Vietnam

It should definately be mentioned, even without any figures, that estimates vary. Sources are not distinguishable as only the Vietnamese government did a census and all other referred to published sources just took this data. Therefore, other sources are obsolete.

There is even an other wikipedia article saying it varies from 1.1 to seven million (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khmer_people) Another source is Khmer Krom People Statistics(http://www.khmerkrom.org/node/31).

I think Khmer interest groups and Vietnames government have obviously different interest on the numbers. It is doubtable wether to only rely on government figures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.23.183.89 (talk) 05:52, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
