The article should not be deleted because it is trying to create awareness about a college radio station that simply should be known like anything else. Many people work hard to operate ComRadio and is deserves the respect of having a wikipedia page and more. With time many individuals will add to the page and make it better. Because of time constraints and other issues that I the creator have, the start up page is somewhat weak. The bottom line is that ComRadio is an integral part of the Pennsylvania State University and it has many listeners. People should be able to come to wikipedia to find out more about ComRadio and that is the reason I have created this page.

ComRadio is not an attempt to blatantly advertise a for-profit organization. It is part of an education institution and teaches students the fundemenals of Radio. I would ask for help in creating a better page rather than deleting it immediately because ComRadio is a well known station that many people may want to learn more about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidpsu (talkcontribs) 21:47, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Daddy.twins. My speedy tag was prompted by the rather gushing style of the article, which made it read like an advert. As you say, the non-profit status is not relevant, and your suggestion seems reasonable to me. Davidpsu: sorry if I offended you - I don't doubt the worthiness of the station, but I'm not sure it's notable enough; and in any case the article needs work to make it suitable encyclopedic. I would agree that for the time being, merging the two sites would be acceptable. As I am not sure the proper route to do this, I am asking for help. AndrewWTaylor if you could please assist in this matter I would appreciate this. In due time I believe there would be enough merrit for it to have its own article, but in the mean time, to avoid it being totally deleted I would accept that. Furthermore, If one of the two of you were interested, I would like to include on the page enough information for it to be on its own. Because this is my first attempt at an article, and I only signed for an account today, I am most certainly an amateur Wikipedia article journalist. Any and all suggestions would be taken into consideration. thanks

Merger Proposal

[edit]

I'll do it, but frankly I think it is only ap[propriate to have a single line, along with the department's other facilities. The remained of the text will be preserved in the history of the redirect. OK?DGG (talk) 03:44, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK then, will do tomorrow. DGG (talk) 04:41, 16 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
