Limited scope

[edit]

This article has left out vast groups of competitive trail riders and assumes the NATRC to be the only competitive trail riding. This article would be better served with a title reflecting the scope of only American trotting horse competitive trail riding. There are thousands of local competitive trail rides that do not conform to the NATRC. There is at least one international association that is beginning to hold events for gaited horses only. This article completely leaves the gaited horse community out. There is an American Gaited Horse Endurance Association that is not even mentioned. Rides in Canada, Iceland, Greenland and the like are often much different than what is highlighted here. I'll be working on a revised article in the next few weeks. ===AmericanPasoEndurance=== — Preceding unsigned comment added by PasoFinoEndurance (talkcontribs) 10:43, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Appropriate expansion of the article would strengthen it. If you have good source material, feel free to create some new sections; other editors will be glad to assist with formatting and referencing if you need help. Montanabw(talk) 18:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
