Assessment

[edit]

I have assessed this article for class and importance. The feedback is as follows: Very good start. Some refs and pics would get it a B. Some alumni a mid. Welcome Victuallers 10:11, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree, entirely. While this is a nice page for a the band program, there is not enough content on it to justify keeping it from the primary Carolina Forest page. Either that page needs to be cleaned up with photos and more references to alumni, or create a separate "CF Band"-wiki. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.7.13.175 (talk) 15:40, 30 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

10/16/09 Stabbing/Shooting Incident

[edit]

The citation provided for the October 16th, 2009 Incident does not confirm what has been stated in the article. The incident was fist reported by the media about four hours ago from the time of this posting. As of now, there have been no confirmations that the SRO has been released from Conway Medical Center.

I also disagree with the structure of the section. It does not have the encyclopedic "feel" to it, and also appears to be biased.

I will be making changes to the article and adding a Current Event Template to the section. If you have any disputes, I will be watching this page.

I think the incident should be included, as there are significant sources to back it up (53 or so, all within the last few hours). It'll need to be rebuilt, but it's a first draft, right? tedder (talk) 17:27, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that the incident should be included. I'm reworking the article at this time, and trying to expand on it more, as well as correcting several errors. Maybe we can push it beyond a first draft. ;) Ts1and2fanatic (talk) 17:37, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Great. I misread your original post, and improvement is always good! tedder (talk) 17:43, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've updated it with information I thought was relevant to the situation. As more information becomes available in the upcoming day or so, I'll try to keep it updated if possible. Oh and some images from the media are finally up at [1] if interested. Those are the first I've come across, although I don't believe that the section warrants their inclusion.
