"Welsh" heroes of Hen Ogledd?

Would it not be more apt to call them "British" as the Welsh don't have a monopoly on ancient Britons? Celtic kingdoms of the north of Britain would persumably fall into "Scottish" territory if we really must bandy around modern terminology, since the Scots are comprised of Gaels, Picts and Celtic Britons of the north and the Scottish are as much successors to ancient British culture as the Welsh. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.144.142 (talk) 15:19, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
