Deletion by persons from Odisha of Odia origin from the Professor Bidhu Bhusan Das Wikipedia page

[edit]

1. Why is it essential to delete the names of Professor Bidhu Bhusan Das's iconic professors at Columbia, Harvard and Oxford? What is achieved except what I would construe as a perverse and pathetically aborted attempt to chop off a part of his history?

2. If someone studied with Einstein, and, say, Robert Oppenheimer and Niels Bohr, what purpose is served by deleting the first two names? Why would anyone in their right minds want to suppress these, over and over and over again, frothing with a bizarre and rabid envy? Envy is, after all, a rather well known part of the Odia character.

2. It seems to me Odialegend (aka Subhashish Panigrahi?), and a couple of others of Odia origin are pathologically obsessed with mutilating the pages of a revered teacher. It can be linked I think, to recent insertions which are a dead give away.

4. I have traced these miscreants and will be publishing their names shortly.

I request Wiki's senior editors from the United States to keep a watch on this page, and on Odialegend and Subhashish Panigrahi (the original meddler with this page). I have since connected with an owner of Wiki and this is exactly what he has asked me to do. Rekha2019 (talk) 13:53, 13 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I've traced the anonymous users who have repeatedly indulged in cyber vandalism and are pathologically obsessed with trying to somehow dissociate Bidhu Bhusan Das's children from him. Rekha2019 (talk) 04:01, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recent cybervandalism on the Bidhu Bhusan Das page

[edit]

Not surprisingly, these are perpetrated by people of Odia origin. Rekha2019 (talk) 04:07, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not familiar with the term Odia, but I can promise you this editor at least is not from that region. It is also not at all polite to make generalizations or disparaging remarks about editors based on ethnicity or location, perceived or otherwise.
