Bents

[edit]

Why are timberframe cross sections/supports called bents? 74.37.88.182 (talk) 18:19, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Changes

So I’m wondering what would be the way to update the intro as they no longer do just barns and cabins. They also have a store where they create items from reclaimed wood for sale (the manager of the store is responsible for decorating them). They also build potting sheds, and other buildings now. See Season 6, Episode 4 “A Gift for Graham” where they build a large potting shed. So it’s not a barn or cabin. I’m thinking add in about the store and change what they build from barns and cabins to buildings? Thoughts? 2600:8801:CA05:EF00:78CC:6741:3C62:5708 (talk) 09:10, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The program is named Barn-wood Builders, and as I take it, it's about the removal and application of wood used build or repair wooden structures. The wood removed from barns or other similar buildings can be used for small craft projects or wall boards, cabinetry, shelving, flooring, etc. 14 May 2024
