History of the term Aspies and similar words used by people with Asperger's syndrome, etc

The term Aspies was coined in 1994, as developer in 1993, and founder as part of the launch of AUTINET Autism and Asperger's and related Disabilities and co-founder of [1] ICAAN.ie Logo used on website and also in Facebook/cause group], conceived by Damon Matthew Wise for people with Asperger's Syndrome or High Functional Autism to refer to ourselves rather then having to use the term "as one person to another with a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome, Tourette's Syndrome or other condition of High Functional Autism"

Auties: person with Autism or within the Autistic Spectrum other then Aspies.

Cousins: term used by Aspies for people with similar conditions to , and frequently occurring co-morbidity or co-existant conditions other then person with Autism or within the Autistic Spectrum other then Aspies.

P&P: Parents and Professionals; often used derogatory to infer a lack of true understanding as is not a person with Autism or within the Autistic Spectrum other then Aspies.

Mundanes: derived from the term in Babylon 5 as a term for Psi Corps Telepath and is used derogatory to infer dullness of persons NOT with Autism or within the Autistic Spectrum other then Aspies; persons without a diagnosis are generally called Neurotypical.

Regressives: Used as a derogatory term for people who attempt to restrict to worst case scenario, or infer lack of ability or the need to "cure" all things related to person with Autism or within the Autistic Spectrum other then Aspies.
