Anyone know French?

[edit]

While searching for some sources for this article I saw that there was a biography written on him: Biographie d'Adam de Perseigne. Now, I only know French as well as Google Translator does. This would be a great opportunity to improve an article, if you know French. A person who has a (full-size?) biography written about them should have an article longer than one paragraph written about them. Psychless 01:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone know German?

[edit]

http://ordensgeschichte.hypotheses.org/5570 To the two known manuscripts of the “Liber de mutuo amore ad sacras virgines” by abbot Adam of Perseigne (d. 1221) is added as a shortened version the manuscript Dole, BM, Ms. 58-65. In 1990 Jutta Seyfarth could show in her Speculum-edition (CCCM 5) that the Speculum virginum (saec. XIIm.) was a major source of Adam’s Liber, without being able to identify the text in the Dole manuscript (which has been edited ten years previously by Gaetano Raciti in: Cîteaux 1980) – a remarkably extensive and early reception, which emphasizes the popularity of the Speculum virginum in the Cistercian order. --Historiograf (talk) 22:47, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
