Tape delay?

[edit]

Is there some sort of tape delay or other delay of the broadcast? Wikipedia is carrying results several seconds before they've been announced on TV (at least in the Boston market). Sahasrahla 02:50, 19 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The Office

[edit]

Which "The Office" was nominated? According to the IMDb, there are a few [1]... --Matt Nordhoff (talk) 04:45, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

....And is there a Wikipedia article for it? ;) --Matt Nordhoff (talk) 04:46, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
It was The Office Christmas Special.[2] See The Office. - dcljr (talk) 23:56, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Should the links to Fox point to 20th Century Fox or Fox Broadcasting Company? They currently point to the former. I think they should point to the latter, but what do I know? :) --Matt Nordhoff (talk) 05:01, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

When you're talking about the channel, it should be Fox Broadcasting. The actual title of the channel is FBC -- they just use FOX. Sahasrahla 03:22, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Winners

[edit]

I think the winners should be indicated with more than just bold type. Maybe something like

would be friendlier for certain browser setups. - dcljr (talk) 23:44, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and with the merging, it should be clearer.--Esprit15d 19:24, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

We have a problem here. The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were listed twice, and need to be joined. One is listed with "prime time" being two words, and this article with it as one word. The official Emmy site regards it as one word. So that means that the other article should be moved here. One other point, that article includes the name of each person who recieved an award (which is vauluable info), while this page includes the nominees, also valuable.--Esprit15d 19:18, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Thumb-emmy05.gif

[edit]

Image:Thumb-emmy05.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
