Phillip Sarofim is an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist and executive. He is Chairman of Board of Meyers Manx and CEO of Trousdale Ventures.[1]

Early life

Phillip Sarofim was born on April 29, 1986, in Texas, United States. He is the son of Fayez Sarofim, an Egyptian-American billionaire and co-owner of the NFL's Houston Texans, and Linda Hicks Sarofim Lowe.[2][3] He grew up in Houston, Texas, and Hawaii. He attended Rice University.

Career

Sarofim is the founder and chief executive officer of venture capital firm Trousdale Ventures. The company's portfolio includes Meyers Manx,[4] Lemon Perfect,[5] Super Coffee, and CesiumAstro.[1][6][7] He has also produced films and documentaries. He was one of the 2023 Tom Ford Plastic Innovation Prize judges.[8]

Car collection

Sarofim is a car enthusiast and collector. His collection includes the Lancia Stratos Zero,[9] Aston Martin Bulldog,[10][11] Isdera Commendatore 112i, a Ruf CTR, and an assortment of Meyers Manx dune buggies.[4]

Personal life

Sarofim married Lori Krohn in 2014. He was also in a relationship with singer Avril Lavigne from 2018 to 2019.[12][13][14][15][16]
