Josh Bannan (born February 26, 2001) is an Australian basketball player. He was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia.
College career
[edit]Bannan attended the University of Montana for three years, where he became a standout player. Over his college career, he averaged 13.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. In the 2022/23 season, he posted impressive stats, averaging 15.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while shooting 49.9 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from beyond the arc.[1][2]
Professional career
[edit]Brisbane Bullets (2023–2024)
[edit]At the age of 22, Bannan chose to forgo completing his college career to start his professional journey early with the Brisbane Bullets in the NBL24. During his rookie season in 2023–24, he averaged 11.9 points and 7.2 rebounds over 19 games.[1]
LA Clippers (2024)
[edit]In 2024, Bannan was selected to play for the LA Clippers in the NBA Summer League.[2]
National Team
[edit]He played in the under-17s team at the 2018 World Cup under his Brisbane Bullets coach, Justin Schueller.
