James George Beale (7 February 1881 – 19 February 1968) was a British track and field athlete who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics and the 1912 Summer Olympics.
Biography
[edit]Beale born in Waltham Cross finished second behind Albert Aldridge in the 10 miles event at the 1906 AAA Championships.[1][2]
At the 1908 Olympic Games, beale competed in the men's marathon and finished 17th.[3] Four years later at the 1912 Olympic Games he once again competed in the marathon but did not finish.[4]
