English: First ride of a train through railway station of "Castel" (today: Mainz-Kastel; Suburb of Wiesbaden). Right side: station building. The Train is running in the direction of Wiesbaden. Closed coaches were built by Joseph Gastell, Mainz.
Deutsch: Erste Fahrt der Taunusbahn durch den Kasteler ("Casteler") Bahnhof am 13. April 1840. (Die geschlossenen Wagen sind von Joseph Gastell, Mainz, gebaut)". Ansicht vom Rhein aus auf den Bahnhof (rechts) und Gebäude der Eisenbahnstraße. Zug in Richtung Wiesbaden.
