Summary

Description
English: Judson Rosebush, " Space ‡," still frame from computer animation, 1974. This still frame from the 35mm three minute silent computer animated film captures the middle of a graphic sequence with the program superimposed over top. Space ‡ is programmed using punch cards in CALD, an animation language created by Sherwood Anderson and Donald Weiner, executed on an IBM 370 at Syracuse University, output by Sherrill Martin on the SD-4020 at MIT, and optically printed by Balazs Nyari at EFX Unlimited in New York using a computerized optional printer.
