Zack Kusnir (born February 6, 1989), also known as Zack Strength, is a former American football defensive lineman who played at the collegiate level for the University of Southern California Trojans[1][2][3], followed by a short professional stint in the Indoor Football League and Arena Football League. After his football career ended, he went on to become a fitness influencer under the alias Zack Strength, and maintains a presence across several social media sites.[4][5]
In addition to his athletic activity, Zack is a politician who serves as Chairman and Treasurer of the Prohibition Party.[6]
Early life
[edit]Born and raised in San Diego, Kusnir grew up a multi-sport athlete and played football, basketball, and baseball in high-school. As a Southern California native, he developed a large interest in playing football for the USC Trojans, where he ultimately made a name for himself as a football player.[7]
College career
[edit]Kusnir went on to play for the USC Trojans football team from 2010 to 2012 as a defensive lineman. He primarily served as a defensive tackle, but also played special teams. His picture is also featured inside of the university's Heritage Hall, which houses the University's athletic department and awards such as National Championship and Heisman trophies.
Fitness influencer
[edit]Online, Zack Kusnir is known by the alias, Zack Strength. He has a strong social media presence with a large following across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
Kusnir is well known for eating a ketogenic diet heavy in meat and eggs, and for lifting intensely. He provides advice of fitness, nutrition, and well-being, and provides consulting services to help others with their health and fitness goals.
He has been featured in several publications in regards to his approach on fitness and nutrition, including Newsweek.[4][5]
Politics
[edit]Kusnir is a registered member of the Prohibition Party, America's oldest active third-party, and currently serves as the party's Chairman and Treasurer.[6][8]
