Yarraville Gardens is a historic public reserve located in the suburb of Yarraville, Victoria, Australia. Covering nearly eight hectares, it is recognized as the earliest intact public reserve in the Maribyrnong municipality, with its origins dating back to 1859 when it was initially designated for a botanical garden. The area began to take shape as an ornamental garden in 1906, largely due to the efforts of local industrialist James Cuming, after whom Cuming Reserve is named.[1][2]
The Gardens feature a variety of recreational amenities, including sports ovals, playgrounds, barbecue facilities, and walking paths that reflect its rich heritage.
