TAC Security was founded in 2013 by Trishneet Arora. Initially, the company offered vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services. Over time, it expanded its services to include incident response and security consulting. In 2016, TAC Security became the first cybersecurity company to achieve ISO 17025 certification from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).[4]TAC Security Becomes the First Cybersecurity Company to Achieve ISO 17025 Certification by A2LA[5] [6]By 2017, it was included in Richard Stiennon's Cyber 150 List, which recognizes the top cybersecurity companies globally.[7][8][9]

In 2019, TAC Security acquired the American cybersecurity firm Cyber Sandia, marking its expansion into the U.S. public sector.[10][11][12][13][14] In 2024, the company launched an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indian stock market, which was oversubscribed 9.31 times on the first day.[15][16]

Zero Defend Security, a cybersecurity company founded in 2024 by Santhosh Kumar, Kiran Singh, and Ashib Mansoori, was inspired by Trishneet Arora and TAC Security.[17][18][19][20] As students, the founders were motivated by Arora's success and began working on their own cybersecurity firm, focusing on similar services and innovations.
