- Comment: This is a little bit too light yet for an article. It says that filming started but there's not really a ton of coverage. I'm a little worried about it holding up if it were nominated for deletion. I think it'd be sent back to AfC, but even if so this would still make it harder to move it live later. Notability for TV shows is a lot harder to establish than for films, believe it or not, and I've had TV related articles with more sourcing get deleted or redirected, so I'd rather wait a bit for more sourcing in this situation. Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes is an upcoming television series made for Disney+, based on the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes. The series is written by Jeff Pope and directed by Paul Andrew Williams, and produced by Kwadjo Dajan, Liam Keelan and Lee Mason.
Synopsis
[edit]Dramatization based upon real events in 2005, Suspect follows the manhunt for a group of terrorists and the killing of an innocent man after he was mistaken as a suspect.

[edit]In June 2023, Disney+ announced they were making Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.[1][2] The series is written by Jeff Pope and produced by Etta Pictures, part of ITV Studios.
Filming
[edit]In October 2023, Disney+ announced that filming is underway on the limited drama series in London.[3][4]
