Sidney W. Degan III is an American attorney known for his work in corporate defense litigation and his contributions to the legal community. He is the founder of the law firm Degan, Blanchard & Nash and has gained recognition for his legal expertise, especially in commercial litigation, insurance law, and construction law.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Mr. Degan received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans and his Juris Doctor from Tulane University School of Law.
He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana, the Eastern Federal District in Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits.
Mr. Degan is a member of the Louisiana, New Orleans, Federal and American Bar Associations, Professional Liability Defense Federation, Maritime Law Association of the United States, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, Inc., International Society of Primerus Law Firms, and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance.
