Robertus Heru Triharjanto was born in Bandung, Oktober 22nd, 1971, is the Head of Research Organisation of Aeronautics, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). He started his service at National Institute for Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) in 1998, as design/flight test engineer for LAPAN. Served as air safety investigator at the National Transportation Safety Committee, Ministry of Transport from 1998 until 2003. Served ad Head of Satellite Bus Technology Division, LAPAN, from 2008 until 2014. Served as Director of Center for Aerospace Policy Studies, LAPAN, from 2018 until 2021. Served as Acting Director of Research and Innovation Partnership, BRIN, from Sept 2021 until April 2022.

- Lead Engineer of Indonesian 1st micro-satellite (LAPAN-TUBSAT) Integration, Test, & Launch Campaign in 2004-2007

- Involved in the formulation of Indonesian Space Law, enacted 2013

- Lead the formulation of Indonesian Government Regulation of Space Technology Acquisition, enacted 2023

- Editorial Board, Jurnal Teknologi Dirgantara (Indonesia for aerospace technology), 2013-2018

- Has written 28 national and 25 international papers on computational mechanics, satellite technology, and space technology management.[2] [3]

- Has 2 Industrial Designs in micro-satellite technology.
