In the same year, Purunity had a strategic merger with Waternet, a similar service provider based in Istanbul, Turkey.[2] This merger created the largest subscription-based water and air purifier business accross Turkey and the GCC (i.e. "Waternet Group"), turning the merged entity into a regional platform.
As of October 2024, Waternet Group serves over 50,000 households across Turkey, the UAE, and the Sultanate of Oman.
