National Delivery Rider's Day is an annual celebration dedicated to honoring delivery riders, observed on Ashadh 1 every year in Nepal.The event was initiated by the Nepal Can Move in 2081 B.S, the event aims to recognize the hard work and dedication of delivery riders who navigate challenging terrains and adverse conditions to fulfill essential logistics and courier services^[1]. National Delivery Riders Day seeks to raise awareness about the significant contributions of delivery riders to business operations and daily life, encouraging a culture of appreciation and respect within the community^[2].

Activities and Events

[2024, June 15] On National Delivery Riders Day in 2024, various activities and events were organized across Kathmandu, including the setup of special stalls at Tripureshwor, Tinkune, Naya Buspark, Chakrapth, and New Road. At the stalls, delivery riders received tokens of love, refreshments such as food and water, and other gestures of gratitude.^[4]
