Lauren Hamden
[edit]Lauren Hamden (LOR-ən ham-duhn; born July 27, 2000) is an Australian social media personality[1] and model[2]. Getting her start in 2022 on Instagram, she quickly grew her following to over 138K followers with her modeling content, many followers noticing her striking blue eyes and sarcastic, dry humor. Since her start, she has established herself as an internet personality with her Twitch streaming, TikTok lip syncing videos, swimsuit content, traveling videos and pictures, and life vlogs with her twin sister, Katie Hamden. The two share a newly started Youtube channel and Tiktok account (since 2020), both called The Hamden Twins. Their Tiktok account has garnished over 515K followers and 8.6 million likes, while their Youtube channel has gained over 2000 followers and more than 3000 views.
Early Life
[edit]Lauren Hamden was born in Perth[3], Western Australia on July 27, 2000. She has a twin sister, Katie Hamden, who is also a social media personality and model. She moved from Perth to the Gold Coast[4] in Australia in January of 2022.
She attended William Ross State High School[5] in Annandale[6], a southern suburb of Townsville, North Queensland, Australia.
Career
[edit]2020 - Present: Rise to internet fame on Tiktok and Instagram
[edit]Lauren first began posting on Instagram in 2022 with selfies, travel content, and swimsuit content. She gained traction by streaming and interacting with gamers on Twitch, including American Youtuber, streamer and rapper, IShowSpeed, and winning an e-date with stream and Youtuber, Jynxzi. She then took over Tiktok and has been featured on some of the biggest Tiktok accounts including American stream and Youtuber, Kai Cenat, and Twitch streamer, Lacy.
Lauren joined her twin sister, Katie Hamden, in 2020 on their own Tiktok account, The Hamden Twins. The sisters went viral in 2022 dancing to Men At Work's "Down Under"[7] Luude Remix.
Since that video, the sisters have videos with up to 12.3 million views[8] vlogging about their lives, making light of their relationships with men, lip syncing and dancing.
