The Jurgensen Companies is a family-owned conglomerate headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, primarily focused on construction, aggregate materials production, and asphalt manufacturing. The company operates across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, providing essential materials and services for infrastructure development. [1] In 2022, Jurgensen was ranked the Cincinnati area's 34th largest privately owned business. These estimates would place the estimated revenue from $300 million to $450 million. [2]

Jurgensen Companies operates through several subsidiaries:

John R. Jurgensen Company: The original and flagship entity focused on asphalt production and heavy highway construction.[3]

Valley Asphalt Corporation: Primarily focused on asphalt manufacturing and paving.

Melvin Stone Company: Engaged in limestone quarrying and aggregates production, providing materials for construction.

Piqua Materials: Another division involved in aggregate mining, specifically in limestone production for the construction sector and high calcium industrial mineral filler.[4]

Benchmark Terminals: A division focused on various river, rail and truck terminals to ship and receive bulk products and chemicals.
