Jack David Nunn is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cagliari.[1]
Early life
[edit]From Watley's End in South Gloucestershire, he first played football for Frampton Rangers and joined Mangotsfield United aged eight years-old. He attended Elm Park Primary School and Winterbourne Academy prior to attending SGS College, where he studied a BTEC in business and finance and trained under former Leeds United head coach Dave Hockaday. He played with development side Bristol Inner City, where he played with future Bristol City players Ephraim Yeboah and Elijah Morrison, but never joined the league club’s academy.[2]
Career
[edit]Nunn played for Stoke Gifford of the Gloucestershire County League, the eleventh tier of English football,[3] and also featured for Mangotsfield United in the Gloucestershire County Cup final against Cheltenham Saracens in 2024.[4] He also represented England Colleges in the Roma Caput Mundi tournament in Italy that year. He signed for Italian side Cagliari Calcio in the summer of 2024, having been scouted at the competition by Cagliari sporting director Nereo Bonato, initially linking up with their under-19 side.[5][6][7] Described as a versatile midfield player, he signed a two-year contract with the option of a third year with the Italian club.[4][2]
