[edit]On April 28, 2020, STX Entertainment acquired Jon and Erich Hoeber's script Fast and Loose with David Leitch, Kelly McCormick, and Annie Marter producing through 87North Productions.[1] On October 7, 2024, Michael Bay had been hired to direct the film, with Chris Bremner and Eric Pearson contributing to the screenplay, Will Smith cast in the lead role, and Netflix acquiring the distribution rights.[2]
