Crime 101 is an upcoming American crime film directed by Bart Layton. It is an adaptation of the Don Winslow novella Crime 101 and stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan and Halle Berry.

[edit]The film is from Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Bart Layton. Layton adapted the Don Winslow novella with contributions from Peter Straughan. Producers include Eric Fellner, Tim Bevan, Dimitri Doganis, Derrin Schlesinger, Shane Salerno and Layton. Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Barry Keoghan star, with Hemsworth also producing alongside Ben Grayson.[1][2] Amazon won a bidding war for the rights to the novella in 2023, with initial reports at that time suggesting that Pedro Pascal was in talks to star alongside Hemsworth.[3] In October 2024, Halle Berry joined the cast in an undisclosed role.[4]
Filming
[edit]Principal photography is scheduled to begin in October 2024, in Los Angeles.[4]
Release
