BankSathi was established on January 15, 2020, with the goal of providing accessible financial solutions to customers in India, particularly in Tier II and Tier III cities. Initially registered in Delhi, the company transitioned its operations to Bengaluru and operates under the subsidiary BS Fintech Private Limited, which was incorporated on September 10, 2021.[2][3]

In May 2021, BankSathi raised $200,000 in a seed funding round from angel investors, indicating initial investor interest in the company's model.[4]

In January 2023, the company secured $4 million in a pre-Series A funding round, backed by notable investors including Kotak Securities and LetsVenture, which supported its growth and expansion efforts[5]

BankSathi's platform connects users with financial advisors, referred to as "BankSathi advisors," who assist clients in navigating various financial products. The company collaborates with over 60 financial institutions, including major banks such as HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and SBI.[6] The services offered include personalized financial advisory, loan facilitation, and insurance solutions.[7]
