Acharya Institute of Technology

The Acharya Institute of Technology (AIT)[2], established in 2000, is an engineering college in Bengaluru, India, affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). AIT is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) [3] [4]. and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA)[5].The institute is also ranked by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)[6].

The Acharya campus, spanning over 120 acres, encompasses academic blocks, hostels, playfields, a cafeteria, and laboratories. Students at Acharya have the opportunity to participate in various clubs focusing on cultural, academic, and recreational activities, in addition to engaging in a wide range of sports. The campus sports infrastructure includes a multipurpose 10,000-seater stadium with floodlights, basketball courts, a Kho-Kho court, a gymnasium, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and a swimming pool.[26]
