Curio Pictures (formerly Playmaker Media) is an Australian film and television production company based in Sydney, which develops and produces scripted and unscripted television programs across multiple television channels in Australia. Curio Pictures is a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Television, which distributes their formats and productions globally.
In 2022, following the departure of Playmaker's founders David Taylor and David Maher, the company was rebranded Curio Pictures under Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner.[1]
