Crazy Aaron Enterprises Inc., also known as Crazy Aaron’s, is an American toy company known for manufacturing Thinking Putty and other toy compounds.[1]

History

Crazy Aaron’s was founded in 1998 by Aaron Muderick, a software engineer who started experimenting with putty as a creative outlet.[2] What started as a small operation where Aaron hand-mixed batches of putty at home for fun grew into a full-fledged business known today as Crazy Aaron's with Thinking Putty as its flagship innovation.[3]

In 2018, Crazy Aaron’s moved into their current global headquarters, factory & offices located in Norristown, PA.[4] In 2019, Crazy Aaron’s acquired Land Of Dough, an eco-friendly play dough for children.[5]

In 2023, Crazy Aaron’s celebrated its 25 years with the introduction of a new compound known as Slime Charmers which are available in three different textures.[6][7]

In 2024, Crazy Aaron’s established partnership with Kroeger Canada to expand its presence in Canada.[8]

The company’s products, originally designed as a stress-relief tool for adults, over time, the brand gained global popularity as a toy for children and a resource for sensory therapy loved by adults.[9]
