Cordulephyidae was formerly considered a distinct family of dragonflies occurring in Africa and Australia.^[2]^[3] Recent taxonomic revisions have classified the species previously placed in Cordulephyidae to now be within the superfamily Libelluloidea.^[4]

Genera

The family had included the following genera.^[4] These genera are no longer assigned to a family, but are placed incertae sedis within the superfamily Libelluloidea.^[4]^[5]
