Synonyms[1]

Chrysometa is a genus of long-jawed orb-weavers that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1894.[3] It is a senior synonym of Capichameta.[2]

As of October 2019 it contains 146 species, found in the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Mexico:[1]
