Camponotus clarithorax is a species of carpenter ant native to California, Oregon, the Baja California Peninsula, and possibly the eastern United States.[1][2][3][4] C. clarithorax is in the subgenus Myrmentoma, the small carpenter ants.[5]: 71 This species is found in Oregon, California, and Baja California.[5]: 88 [6]
