Adeola Phillips (born 1972) is a Christian faith leader, medical doctor, philanthropist, banker and businesswoman. She is the 1st and 14th chief executive officer of Loveworld Inc[1]. She chairs Parallex Bank, Future Africa Leaders Foundation[2], Loveworld Medical Centre[3], Trauma care International, Volunteer Medical Corps and also serves as the host of Pastor Chris' quarterly globally transmitted healing program called Healing Streams Live Healing Services[4]. She is also the founding director of Loveworld Television Ministry, the office responsible for televangelist Chris Oyakhilome's broadcasts.[5] In 2023, she hosted former president of Liberia Ellen Sirleaf and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to launch the Loveworld Multispecialist Medical Centre, which 2024, upgraded with Nigeria's only functional gamma camera for the Radionuclide Therapy and Oncology department of Nuclear Medicine. Early life
[edit]Adeola Phillips was born into a Christian family, but had her salvation experience in March 1985 while in secondary school. She earned her degree in Medicine from the University of Lagos in 1994. Since graduation, she has worked in Loveworld and pioneered several organizations. [7]
Career
[edit]Parallex Bank
[edit]Dr. Adeola Phillips has served as the founding chairman of the bank since its inception in 2008, during its early days as a microfinance institution. Under her leadership, the bank achieved the milestone of becoming the first microfinance bank in Nigeria to transition from a unit microfinance bank to a fully-fledged commercial bank in January 2022. The bank has opened branches in Marina[8], Lekki[9], Ikeja, Uyo[10] and the capital city of Nigeria, Abuja[11].
Trauma Care International
[edit]In 2018, Trauma Care International Foundation, a non governmental agency won the Guinness World Record for most signups for blood donation. Over 3410 individuals signed up for blood donation. The organization partners with the trauma care responders of Nigeria's commercial capital and most populous city, Lagos State by launching an app for first responders and emergency organizations. Future Africa Leaders Foundation
[edit]Dr. Adeola Phillips pioneered the Future Africa Leaders Foundation in 2013[5] and has overall, facilitated the sponsorship of 123 youths from 130 African countries with over 1.3m US dollars of grant in health, sanitation, agriculture, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, technology, advocacy for justice and good governance[13]
Loveworld Medical Centre
[edit]In 2023, Dr. Adeola Phillips hosted former president of Liberia Ellen Sirleaf and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome to launch an 80-bed Loveworld Multispecialist Medical Centre in Ikeja, Lagos Nigeria, and in less than a year upgraded the hospital with gamma camera for the Radionuclide Therapy and Oncology department of Nuclear Medicine.
