Abhishek Pallava (born 2 September 1982) is an IPS officer of the 2013 batch, from the Chhattisgarh cadre,[1][2][3] and is the Superintendent of Police of Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh.[4] He has been working in the field of policing for last ten years, after quitting his medical practice.[5]
Early life
[edit]Abhishek Pallava was born to Mr. Rishi Kumar and Mrs. Asha Devi in Begusarai. He joined the Indian Police Service, in 2013,[2] through the Civil Service Examination.
Police career
[edit]Mr. Pallava was appointed as the SP of Dantewada district this year.[6][7] He came into the limelight, when he treated a follower of maoism, whom he had shot himself.[8] [9] He also treats ailing people from the interior villages.[10][8]
Personal life
[edit]He is married to Dr. Yasha, who is a renowned dermatologist, from durg-Bhillai.[6]
