Wikipedia:WikiProject IRC collaboration

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Wikipedia:IRCC)

The IRC collaboration WikiProject focuses on using IRC to work on a chosen article to get it to the best possible standard. IRC collaboration is in real time, so users can discuss edits as they work - this gives the advantage of having a much more streamlined editing process. There will be one collaboration a month, and the main aim of the collaboration are to get the chosen article up to featured status. Non IRC members are more than happy to join the project and they may simply use the normal channels to discuss edits such as article talk pages, or members of IRC would be more than willing to help set users up on the channel. The major channel that will be used for collaboration is #wikipedia-en.

Suggestions

[edit]

Please make suggestions for the next collaboration which will begin on 1 February 2008. A choice of three will be put forward to a vote 7 days before the start of the collaboration. Articles should be interesting and should be likely to attract a wide editing audience. Articles put forward should be capable of making featured status. Suggestions should be made using *{{la|Article name}} - reason the article is a good collaboration topic. ~~~~ in the section below.

I'm slowly working through it, rewriting and fixing up citations. Some content reorganization and such is necessary, I think. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 02:22, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
