... for being the herald of happy news about 15 years on this project! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:03, 3 August 2024 (UTC)

Today I have two "musicians" on the Main page, one is also the topic of my story, watch and listen, - I like today's especially because you see him at work, hear him talk about his work and the result of his work - rare! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:37, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

... and a third, like 22 July but with interview and the music to be played today --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:46, 8 August 2024 (UTC)

On 13 August, Bach's cantata was 300 years old, and the image one. The cantata is an extraordinary piece, using the chorale's text and famous melody more than others in the cycle. It's nice to have not only a recent death, but also this "birthday" on the Main page. And a rainbow in my places. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:03, 13 August 2024 (UTC)

Hello! Recently you mentioned 'See MOS:DOCTOR too' on User talk:VSankeerthSai1609 under where I had told them of not using 'Dr.' prefix before the name. However I think that MOS:DOCTOR doesn't make any sense here as the said mos is only for

pseudonym or stage name containing the title

I do not see this being the case the subject on 2024 Kolkata rape and murder incident, as the victim was not famous with the name 'Dr. xxxx' before the incident, rather they were not even notable. Regards, ExclusiveEditor Notify Me! 12:40, 17 August 2024 (UTC)

ExclusiveEditor, Yea, it was my point exactly. Neither MOS:MR nor MOS:DOCTOR allows the adding of the prefix since the victim is not widely known with that prefix. Hence. I added that additional guideline for them to be aware of. Thanks for dropping by. — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 13:06, 17 August 2024 (UTC)

Requesting some article expansion help

Greetings @The Herald

Hi, I am User:Bookku, On Wikipedia I engage in, finding information and knowledge gap areas in Wikipedia and promoting expansion of related drafts and articles. Came across your edit at New Delhi (Xtools).

Requesting you to visit stub-draft Draft:Rabindra Rangshala and help it's expansion and copy edit if the topic interests you. Bookku (talk) 12:27, 26 August 2024 (UTC)

Bookku, hey, thanks for dropping by. The draft looks good, but definitely need more references and a little copyedit too. I'm kinda busy irl and not exactly very active in Wikipedia enough for expansion right now. Good luck to you, though. Happy editing. — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 12:40, 26 August 2024 (UTC)

Kalki BO numbers updated using unreliable sources like TOI

Hi @The Herald,

In the highest grossing Indian films page, for the film Kalki, Times of India source has been used which is an unreliable source.

Also 1200 crore number is exaggerated as well as most reliable sources have reported as 1100 crores.

I am listing the reliable sources (latest) below. Please have a look at it.

Business Standard (1050 cr)- [5]

Deccan Chronicle (1100 cr) -[6]

Deccan Herald (1100cr) - [7]

Hindustan Times (1100 cr) - [8]

Mint (1041.65 cr) - [9]

Indian Express (1041.65cr) - [10]

The Statesman (1100cr) - [11]

So according to these reliable sources, the ideal range should be (1041.65 to 1100 crores). Can you please look into this and make changes to the highest grossing list and relevant pages.

Thanks. PRIYAMANI7 (talk) 11:32, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

PRIYAMANI7, already done by Anoopspeaks. Thanks.

They have conducted 357 featured content reviews, as well as 553 good article reviews and peer reviews, and have added 30 articles to featured topics and good topics.

Kalki 2898 AD misleading information.

Hi, since I'm not authorised to change the following myself, I'm leaving you to it:

The Rotten Tomatoes score—81% based on 37 critics— is correctly mentioned in the critical reception section. However, the average rating of 7.8/10 is incorrectly mentioned. 7.8 is, in fact, only based on top 6 critics; actual average rating is 7.3/10.

It's been this way for several days now. It's misleading and for a page "protected" from vandalism, it's really bad to spread wrongful information. Please take care of it. Source: [link=https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/kalki_2898_ad] 117.212.229.164 (talk) 15:29, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

117.212.229.164, Thanks for the message. But I am unable to find the exact number of reviews. So please make an edit request on the talk page of the film explaining the change and provide the exact reference. Additionally, just to let you know that Wikipedia has no deadline and anything and everything can be changed at it's own pace. It's not the end of the world if a wrong edit is present in an article. It can be changed when it's possible. We don't have to be up to date and first and foremost, like a newspaper or a journal. Thanks and happy editing :) — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 18:40, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

Hello!

Hi, I hope you're doing well! You responded to me on the Kalki film page, and I couldn't help but check out your profile. You seem like a jack of all trades and I started to admire your work and ethics. Fanism aside, I’ve recently written a new article, and I would appreciate your insights and feedback. Thanks! Meowedits (talk) 16:49, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

Meowedits, hey, thanks for dropping by and for the AfC draft. But I have been away from AfC for the past two months and will try to pick it up later. As the edit notice on this page say, go through User:The Herald/AfC Essentialities and submit the draft and wait. Either me or someone else will review it and accept. It won't be fair for the huge backlog of 1000s of other drafts if I go out of the way and review yours. Happy editing. Thanks. — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 17:55, 6 September 2024 (UTC)
