The following teams and drivers are competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship.[26] As the championship is a spec series, all teams compete with an identical Dallara F3 2019 chassis with a 3.4 L (207 cu in) naturally-aspirated V6 engine developed by Mecachrome.[27][28][29] All teams compete with tyres supplied by Pirelli.

Notes:

  • The pole winner also receives 1 bonus point, similar to the previous ARCA points system used until 2019 and unlike NASCAR.[199]
  • Additionally, after groups of 5 races of the season, drivers that compete in all 5 races receive 50 additional points.[199] This points bonus will be given after the race at Iowa.

The following teams and drivers are under contract to compete in the 2023 championship. As the championship is a spec series, all teams will compete with an identical Dallara F3 2019 chassis and tyre compounds developed by Pirelli.[252][28] Each car is powered by a 3.4 L (207 cu in) naturally-aspirated V6 engine developed by Mecachrome.[253]
