Ardeshir Tarapore

[edit]
  • ... that during the Battle of Chawinda, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Ardeshir Tarapore, 17 Poona Horse destroyed sixty Pakistani tanks? Source: (Chakravorty 1995, p. 77) ISBN 978-81-7023-516-3

  • Source is inline cited to a book published by Allied Publishers which appears to be RS. Long enough, no copyvio, recently promoted to GA, no image. It's undoubtedly interesting as, the way it's written, makes me think 17 horses destroyed the Pakistani tanks, not 17 Battalion, Poona Horse (though either construction is correct, the one used is most interesting). QPQ done - looks good! Chetsford (talk) 00:32, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
