Depiction

[edit]

I come from Port Lincoln, and I think the article needs a better picture than the one of the old and barely-used (if at all) train station, as it suggests a negative image of the town. Might I suggest a skyline picture, or the spectacular view of the city as seen from the hilltop lookout?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.101.91.122 (talkcontribs) 11:35, 2 June 2006

I don't believe we have any editors on the West Coast. If you have any images, or are able to acquire some, please consider uploading them to Wikipedia for use under an appropriate licence.--cj | talk 05:54, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contradictions

[edit]

The info box and the main atricle contradict one another in terms of population and distance from Adelaide. Anyone know which is correct?--Zig c 05:56, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They're both kinda correct... depends if you're driving or flying. Flying straight from Adelaide to Port Lincoln is a hell of a lot more direct than driving up to Port Augusta, then back down the other side of Spencer Gulf past Whyalla. ;)
