Contested deletion

This is a non-biased write up of a large private company. The firm is mentioned in several other places throughout Wikipedia and has several notable attorneys that have their own Wikipedia page.

Notability is not inherited from the employees for the company (follow the link to find out more about this crucial topic). My recommendation would be that you try to provide cites from arm's-length third-party sources of expert opinion that specifically deal with the merits of the organization per se. All Wikipedia articles must be bolstered with reliable sources that testify to the notability of the topic in a verifiable way. I've removed the speedy and slapped two quick cites into it, to give the author some time.--Milowenthasspoken 21:42, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The result of this discussion was: merge Lindenfall (talk) 18:23, 27 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request received to merge articles: Nexsen Pruet into Maynard, Cooper & Gale; June 2023. Rationale: Combines two stub articles of two recently merged companies. Following the page merge, the new page would be renamed (moved) to the new firm name: Maynard Nexsen, retaining the history of the two predecessor firms in one article. Please discuss here. Lindenfall (talk) 19:19, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This seems correct. The firms have merged, the resulting article shouldn’t be too lengthy, and readers are not likely to be confused by the redirect. Nihil obstat. — ob C. alias ALAROB 13:52, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
