I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of best-selling Sega Genesis video games's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 06:41, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong numbers

[edit]

The YouTube video says including mobile sells sonic 1 sold over 15. 4.35 million on the genesis only.(http://www.vgchartz.com/platform/16/sega-genesis/) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:3C5:8200:B79:2923:6D0F:A3EA:7FF8 (talk) 18:02, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Streets of Rage

[edit]

Streets of Rage sold less than a million copies...?! --91.125.45.82 (talk) 00:23, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is just an incomplete list, Sega didn't bring a list of their best-sellers.
Most probably SoR surpassed the million units barrier. Batamamma (talk) 16:18, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles be split?

[edit]

While they're both intended to be the same game (and both can be played as Sonic 3 & Knuckles via lock-on technology and modern ports), both games are still two separate releases. Should they be split in terms of sales? Murphmario (talk) 03:42, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
