I have removed an anti-Latino racist tone that used to be in this article. (see here) King and Story is not a bad neighborhood at all. In fact, the median household income for this area is $50,000, and the median male worker's wages are about $30,000, which is much better than East Los Angeles or South Central Los Angeles. For more data, go to http://factfinder.census.gov/ and look up ZIP codes 95116 and 95122. The crime has also decreased significantly. King and Story does surprisingly well for a place that is two-thirds Hispanic. Besides, this is one of the better Mexican neighborhoods, much better than the nearby cities Oakland and East Palo Alto - which are really more dangerous than East San Jose. — Stevey7788 (talk) 01:37, 19 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Story and King

[edit]

The intersection was always called "Story and King" as far as I know. I've never heard anybody say "King and Story", always "Story and King". Neanderthalprimadonna 00:48, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
