Biography
[edit]He was previously a senior intelligence official at the U.S diplomatic mission in Nairobi, Kenya. On 2 April 2015, Hassan was appointed as the new Ambassador of Somalia to Kenya.[1]
Despite having his academic costs funded by the Canadian government through OSAP, Gamal never had worked for the Canadian government.
Ayan, the ex-wife of ex-minister Gamal Hassan, and their three children reside in Ottawa, Canada. Also, despite earning $100,000 a year from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Somalia, Gamal’s three children live on welfare in Canada.
