Wrong Helm ! Peers Helm incorrectly used
British Heraldic Helms
1. Royal Helm: Used by the Sovereign and Princes of the Realm. Gold Melée helm affrontée with grills.
2. Peers Helm Used by peers of the realm. Steel Melée helm in profile (45 degrees) with five Golden grills.
3. Knights/Baronets Helm: Used by Knights and Baronets who are not peers. Steel Bascinet or Barriers helm affrontée with visor open.
4. Esquire/Gentleman's Helm: Used by all others. Steel Tilting helm facing the dexter with visor closed.

Move?
[edit]The arms shown are in fact those of Sir John Major. Although he is universally known as John Major, those arms are of a knight. Should the title not reflect what we are actually seeing? Kiltpin (talk) 16:41, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
