Summary

Description
English: Now a large shopping complex in pleasant grounds where there are many mature trees, survivors from the time when these were the grounds of Naburn Hospital which closed in 1988. The original buildings here were those of the York Borough Asylum 1906 which became York City Mental Hospital in 1927.
